Please visit the tun.touro.edu/administration/human-resources website where you can see a comprehensive listing of optional benefits and Human Resources contact information.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Maintain the performance of the heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.<li>Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.</li><li>Maintain proper stock of parts, tools, and safety equipment.</li></li>\n<li>Maintains and repairs buildings and equipment.<li>Perform daily inspections of areas. Ensure buildings are safe, fully operational, clean, and meets exceptional appearance standards.</li><li>Remedy any discrepancies through a work order and/or vendor.</li><li>Ensure all safety equipment is present and functional.</li></li>\n<li>Complete all assigned work orders within the specified time as assigned by the supervisor.</li>\n<li>Monitor and promote workplace safety. Assures adherence to safety rules, regulations, procedures, and precautions while involved in work tasks.</li>\n<li>Prepare purchase requests for supplies and equipment.</li>\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em>Education:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or G.E.D is required.</li>\n <li>Completion of an HVAC School is preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><u>Experience</u></em><em>:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>HVAC experience in maintenance and repair – 2 years.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><u>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</u></em><em>:</em>       </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Possession of a valid Nevada driver’s license.</li>\n <li>EPA 608 Certification or obtain it in 90 days.</li>\n <li>Ability and clearance to drive company vehicles.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and analytical skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task.</li>\n <li>Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.</li>\n <li>Strong customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer’s expectations.</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of personnel.</li>\n <li>Ability to use hand and power tools.</li>\n <li>Ability to access the roof hatch by climbing ladders that reach 35 ft.</li>\n <li>Ability to climb folding ladders up to 15 ft.</li>\n <li>Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in severe weather conditions.</li>\n <li>Ability to stand for long periods of time.</li>\n <li>Ability to bend, stoops, crouches, pushes, pulls, and reaches above shoulders in the performance of duties.</li>\n <li>Ability to safely prepare and operate pressure cleaning machines, compressors and related tools</li>\n <li>Knowledge of codes and regulations applicable to the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems</li>\n <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs</li>\n</ul>",
