Our experienced team couples advanced product technologies, expert design and engineering services, and a deep understanding of our customers’ applications to provide comprehensive solutions that meet exacting requirements for quality, reliability, and performance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Minco is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and optimize control systems for our manufacturing processes. This role focuses on motion control, test & data acquisition, SCADA, and safety of automated equipment while contributing to continuous process improvement and innovation.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, implement, and optimize control systems to automate manufacturing processes, ensuring operational efficiency and minimal downtime.</li>\n <li>Develop and program PLCs, HMIs, and other automation hardware for seamless integration into production systems.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues, minimizing disruptions to production.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality departments, to improve process control and system performance.</li>\n <li>Provide technical support for new equipment installations and upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.</li>\n <li>Create and maintain detailed documentation for control systems, including diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.</li>\n <li>Stay updated on the latest advancements in automation technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical, Control Systems, or related Engineering field.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in control system design, automation, and implementation, preferably in a manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Proficient with PLC programming, HMI design, Ignition Inductive Automation / SCADA systems, SQL, C/C+, and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
