This is a .8 (32 hrs/wk) position that could cover our entire service area.</p><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p>· Provides massage therapy services to assigned caseload per plan of treatment.</p><p>· Prior to providing service, ensures physicians order is obtained by RN Case Manager.</p><p>· Conducts teaching to patient and/or family as determined appropriate.</p><p>· Communicates with RN Case Manager as needed regarding changes in patient’s status.</p><p>· Makes referrals to other appropriate health care workers as necessary in consultation with RN Case Manager.</p><p>· Instructs and coordinates activities with other team members in duties to be done for specific patient situations on an ongoing basis.</p><p>· Complies with standard precautions and standard infection control protocols and general safety policies and procedures.</p><p>· Maintains accurate, complete documentation of activities for medical record.</p><p>· Ensures documentation is on the medical record at least 48–72 hours following the provision of care.</p><p>· Prepares written summary of patient status for the physician to be sent at least every two weeks.</p><p>Provides appropriate office staff with notification of visits made daily and turns in written verification of visits on a 48–72-hour basis. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p>Adoray expects employees to understand and to incorporate the values of our organization in their day-to-day practice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><p>· Graduate of a Massage Therapy program to consist of at least 500 classroom hours.</p><p>· Licensed as a Massage Therapist/Bodyworker in the State of Wisconsin. </p><p>· Ongoing completion of any education requirements to maintain license as applicable</p><p>· Minimum of two years of clinical massage experience.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong></p><p>· Maintains patient confidentiality and abides by agency’s HIPAA policies and procedures.</p><p>· Ability to work autonomously and make independent judgments.</p><p>· Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently</p><p>· Ability to work well as part of a team and independently</p><p>· Exceptional customer service skills</p><p>· Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><p>Job involves standing more than four hours per day; stooping, bending, lifting/pushing up to 25 lbs. etc. are regularly required. </p>",
