TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Identifies psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues, and diagnoses disorders using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials. </li>\n <li>Utilizes knowledge of substance abuse, dependence, and addictive behaviors and their treatment to screen for psychoactive substance toxicity, intoxication, withdrawal symptoms, co-existing mental health problems, and danger to self or others. </li>\n <li>Determines clients’ readiness for treatment and change. </li>\n <li>Develops and implements individual treatment plans, specifying therapy type, frequency, intensity, and duration.</li>\n <li> Utilizes understanding of the range of treatment needed and knowledge of available treatment resources and their appropriate use in formulating (with clients) mutually agreed-upon treatment goals and measurable objectives. </li>\n <li>Completes psychological consultations. </li>\n <li>Provides individual and group therapy for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reports:</strong></p>\n<p>Dir/Outpatient Services (110201)</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<p>None</p>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in psychology</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in general psychological testing. </li>\n <li> Experience working in an acute care medical setting with a general medical and psychiatric population.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensed as a psychologist in accordance with Florida Statutes, Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 490 (Psychological Services) </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>If you are interested in becoming a part of TMH’s legacy of quality & compassionate healthcare, we want to know you.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Please submit your application & resume TODAY!
