Then this hands-on Manufacturing Technician position is for you! Every day you will help Minco succeed by being part of a problem-solving team, supporting the Production floor, helping identify areas for continuous improvement and living Minco’s icare values -- Integrity, Communication, Accountability, Respect, & Energy.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>· Provide support to a work cell or area by troubleshooting models and equipment</p>\n<p>· Prioritize multiple issues at once to best support production promptly</p>\n<p>· Responsible for equipment set-up, care, and repair as needed</p>\n<p>· Respond to Production line-stop incidents, keeping the lines producing parts</p>\n<p>· Inspect and set up tooling, programming and machines for Manufacturing that require specific tolerances</p>\n<p>· Train and assist manufacturing assemblers in various work centers as required</p>\n<p>· Participating in Root Cause Analysis and scrap reduction/prevention activities</p>\n<p>· Verify work methods and documentation in Manufacturing areas</p>\n<p>· Complete appropriate documentation (ECR’s, data sheets, etc.)</p>\n<p>· Support value stream continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives</p>\n<p>· Lead work teams or projects toward work center initiatives, problem resolution, or other programs</p>\n<p>· Perform equipment/product qualification testing</p>\n<p>· Communicate with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems</p>\n<p>· Apply a variety of assembly and manufacturing principles and practices within the Thermal Production area</p>\n<p>· Ensure compliance with quality or production standards</p>\n<p>· Perform other duties as assigned</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em>Basic Qualifications:</em></p>\n<p>· Five or more years of manufacturing experience and a high school diploma/GED OR an associate degree in a technical field such as engineering</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Preferred Qualifications:</em></p>\n<p>· Root Cause Analysis experience (Six Sigma, Plan Do Check Act, Cause and Effect Analysis)</p>\n<p>· Lamination/press experience preferred</p>\n<p>· Knowledge of electronic test equipment (multimeters, Hypot tester, etc.) preferred</p>\n<p>· Strong understanding of production and manufacturing</p>\n<p>· PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</p>\n<p>· Able to read and interpret specification drawings and written instructions</p>\n<p>· Project management experience is a plus</p>\n<p>· Knowledge of products and work methods</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This position is a regular full-time position located in our headquarters in Fridley, Minnesota.
