Kelvion &ndash; Together, We Shape the Future</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>The Maintenance Technician performs activities concerned with maintaining the facilities by performing the following duties:</p><p><strong>What you will be responsible for:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Reports all activities and navigates proficiently through the maintenance CMMS system.</li><li>Preventive Maintenance and repair of HVAC systems</li><li>Preventive Maintenance and repair of Electrical systems and Generators.</li><li>Preventive Maintenance and repair of all facilities equipment.</li><li>Comply with all LOTO procedures.</li><li>Familiar with and comply with all Red Tag Permit Instructions per Insurance company.</li><li>Troubleshoots a variety building infrastructure systems.</li><li>Ensures preventative measures are satisfying safety standards.</li><li>Performs monthly inspections on all production equipment and replacement parts.&nbsp;</li><li>May collaborate with building management towards the renovation and improvement of facilities systems.</li><li>May report maintenance metrics to management.</li><li>Confers with department managers to coordinate monthly inspections.</li><li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license to be able to drive to different locations within the Port.&nbsp;</li><li>Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on&ndash;site, ability to work overtime.</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.</li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.</li></ul><p><strong><u>COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. &nbsp;Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.</li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. &nbsp;Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</li></ul><p><strong><u>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)</u></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED). &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>3-5 years of experience in facilities is preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, indoor, and outdoor building repair experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Journeyman Electrical or HVAC license is preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer YOU:</strong></p><p>At Kelvion, we take your well-being seriously.
