The Oko West Project is a new gold discovery in northwest Guyana. It is located south of the historical “Oko” gold district, some 95 km west of Georgetown.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">To ensure the achievement of this large-scale project, G Mining Ventures is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold;\">Mine Supervisor (Drill and Blast)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The MIne Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all drilling and blasting activities within the mine site. This role ensures that blasting operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and mine production goals.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold;\">Key Areas of Responsibility &amp; Duties</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Supervise daily drilling and blasting operations, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Coordinate with mine planning, geology, and production teams to implement blast designs and schedules.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Lead and manage drill and blast crews, contractors, and equipment to meet project timelines and production targets.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Conduct risk assessments, pre-start meetings, and safety briefings focused on drilling and blasting activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Monitor and inspect blast sites to verify proper drill patterns, hole depths, explosive loading, and stemming.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ensure explosives are stored, handled, transported, and used in compliance with legal and company policies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Maintain accurate records of blasting activities, including blast logs, misfires, vibration and fly rock monitoring data.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Investigate any incidents or irregularities related to drilling and blasting and implement corrective actions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to drilling and blasting personnel.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the drill and blast team.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold;\">Qualifications/Skills and Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Technical diploma in Mine or Geology engineering and blasting or technical diploma in mining and blasting + relative years of work experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Minimum 5–8 years of mining experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role in drilling and blasting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Strong knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques, equipment, and explosives handling.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Experience in open-pit and/or underground mining operations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ability to interpret blast designs, maps, and technical documentation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Proven leadership and team management skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Familiarity with blast design software and monitoring equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold;\">Working Conditions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Position based at the OKO Project site.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Work Schedule – 14 days on 7 days Off</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Transport, accommodations, and meals provided on site.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold;\">Compensation Package:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Permanent, full-time role</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Competitive Salary</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Competitive benefits, bonus and group insurances.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> </span></p>",
