    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>Performs mammography operations to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, views prescreening form and addresses patient questions and concerns.</li><li>Consistently produces quality screening and diagnostic mammograms.</li><li>Assures that the completed exam is submitted with all required paperwork to the Radiologist.</li><li>Assist the Radiologist with needle localizations.</li><li>Displays a caring and compassionate demeanor when talking patients through the procedure.</li><li>Follows proper patient and technologist safety while in the department.</li><li>Participates in annual MQSA inspections</li><li>Participates in in-service education and maintain the required number of annual CEU&#39;s for MQSA and state registration.</li><li>Orders supplies.</li><li>Float in x-ray to help with coverage as needed.</li><li>Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations, registries and licenses.</li><li>Maintains strict confidentiality.</li><li>Consistently displays a positive attitude and a personal commitment to excellence.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Patient Centered</strong></li><li><strong>Accountable for Results</strong></li><li><strong>Teamwork</strong></li><li><strong>Effective Communication</strong></li><li><strong>Quality Focus</strong></li><li><strong>Professional Knowledge</strong></li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Required Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma. &nbsp;</li><li>Completion of ARRT in AMA approved school.</li><li>Florida license</li><li>Current AART registration with an additional mammography registry.</li><li>Current American Heart Association recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.</li><li>One year of mammography experience preferred.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk or hear. This position on occasion will require you to lift objects up to 40lbs. &nbsp; Strong verbal and written communication skills required. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, balance, crouch or crawl. Ability to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency. &nbsp;Repetitive motion of upper body required for extended use of machines and computers.</p><p><strong>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:</strong></p><p>This is a part-time position in an outpatient medical office setting.
