Responsible for performing standard assembly processes, reworks and repairs on manufactured equipment and products while working under general supervision.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work under general supervision, performing a variety of assembly operations associated with the manufacturing of products, small mechanical or electro-mechanical parts, or equipment housing or large equipment such as engines, engine and PTO drive trains, transmissions, diesel and natural gas generators, control equipment, covers/cowlings, related connecting lines, etc.</li>\n <li>Assembly process may include fitting, mounting, alignment, adjusting, and operational testing and other duties.</li>\n <li>Promotes and contributes safety awareness.</li>\n <li>Promotes and takes an active part in quality and continuous improvement processes.</li>\n <li>Performs preventive maintenance, inspects production equipment, and performs minor repairs.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and two to ten years related experience.</p></li>\n <li><p>Working under general supervision, performs a variety of assembly operations associated with the manufacturing of products, small mechanical or electro-mechanical parts, or equipment housing or large equipment such as engines, engine and PTO drive trains, transmissions, diesel and natural gas generators, control equipment, covers/cowlings, related connecting lines, etc.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assembly process may include fitting, mounting, alignment, adjusting, and operational testing and other duties.</p></li>\n <li><p>Promotes and contributes safety awareness.</p></li>\n <li><p>Promotes and takes an active part in quality and continuous improvement processes.</p></li>\n <li><p>Performs preventive maintenance, inspects production equipment, and performs minor repairs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be proficient in basic hand and power tools</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be proficient in basic measurement tools (Tape measure, rulers, squares)</p></li>\n <li><p>Basic understanding of calibration tools. (Torque Wrench)</p><p> </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills & Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Computer Skills: Basic computer navigation and utilization skills preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Activities & Requirements: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Able to lift 65 lbs. from floor to shoulder level occasionally.</li>\n <li>Ability to frequently exert the pound force limits for push/pull 50lb f (no wheels) or 100lb f (wheels).</li>\n <li>Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting,</li>\n <li>carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands and fingers.</li>\n <li>Requires crawling and working in narrow spaces.</li>\n <li>Requires frequent repetitive movements, i.e. hammering, turning wrenches, screwdrivers and impact tools.</li>\n <li>Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers.</li>\n <li>Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.</li>\n <li>Exposed to cold, heat, noise mechanical/electrical fume or odor.</li>\n <li>Will be required on occasion to work more than 8 hours on one shift.</li>\n <li>Will be required to work at a minimum height of four feet off of the ground.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate overhead cranes, mobile equipment and motor vehicles as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work outside as well as in a shop environment. Shop environment may not have air conditioning. </li>\n</ul>",
