    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Location:</strong> Waukesha, WI<br><strong>Shift:</strong>&nbsp;2nd</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prolec GE Waukesha is seeking an experienced <strong>Manufacturing Supervisor</strong> to lead and support our production team in the heavy manufacturing of large Power Transformers. As our Manufacturing Supervisor, you will oversee a team of 25&ndash;30 production employees and ensure daily operations run safely, efficiently, and in alignment with production schedules. You will provide day-to-day guidance, interpret technical specifications, support continuous improvement activities, and help maintain a Zero Harm safety culture across the shop floor. You will also lead the development of core skills within your team and ensure appropriate training is provided.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supervise daily production activities, assigning work, optimizing workflows, and resolving complex manufacturing challenges.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review and interpret assembly drawings, prints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Establish and maintain workmanship standards; investigate and correct processes that fall out of conformance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support annual budgeting, labor forecasting, and monthly performance-to-budget reviews.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure compliance and optimize processes and layouts.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate production employees; recommend wage adjustments and promotions as appropriate.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain accurate timekeeping and attendance records.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support adherence to the Collective Bargaining Agreement and partner with HR on disciplinary matters.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure workplace organization, safety, and housekeeping standards are consistently met.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide leadership presence on the production floor to ensure schedule adherence and resolve issues as they arise.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree with 3-5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Equivalent years of leadership experience may be considered in lieu of degree.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to interpret technical drawings, solve production problems, and support multiple processes across a manufacturing environment.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience working in a union environment is highly preferred.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><em>Culture:</em></strong><em><br>&nbsp;We take pride in a culture rooted in strong values, meaningful behaviors, and a deep sense of purpose.
