As the Manager, Social Work (Clinical), you will carry a small caseload providing case management, therapeutic interventions, and crisis management. The Manager, Social Work (Clinical) will provide counseling services, develop IEPs and related documents, and work with families on a plethora of matters related to school and outside of school issues, as well as major point of contact for families to stay in contact with the school.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:</strong> Provides administrative supervision of 6 FTEs.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p><strong>Related Services:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Addresses issues in a child's living environment that impact their adjustment in school, encompassing home, school, and community settings.</li><li>Mobilizes family, school, and community resources to enable the child to learn as effectively as possible in his or her educational program.</li><li>Provides supervision for Social Worker(s), Behavior Specialist(s) and other members for the school’s clinical team.</li><li>Collaborate with Behavioral Specialists and other clinical team members to develop and implement intervention plans for student support.</li><li>Ensures staff complete and submit student attendance monitoring records, as well as all required reporting (including attendance records, intervention plans, CFSA and/or Court Referrals) in accordance with attendance/truancy policies.</li></ul><p><strong>SERVICES TO STUDENTS:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Provides counseling and crisis intervention.</li><li>Develop intervention strategies aimed at enhancing academic achievement.</li><li>Assists children in developing appropriate social interaction skills.</li></ul><p><strong>SERVICES TO PARENTS/FAMILIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with parents to facilitate their support in their children's school adjustment.</li><li>Provides resources and support to families to enhance the child's ability to function effectively in school and the community.</li><li>Help parents access programs available for students with special needs.</li></ul><p><strong>SCHOOL LIAISON:</strong></p><ul><li>Delivers professional development and collaborate with staff as needed to address the social and emotional needs of students.</li><li>Secures and coordinates community resources to address students' needs.</li><li>Identifies and reports instances of child abuse and neglect.</li><li>Provides case management for students and families as needed.</li><li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Assistant Principal.</li></ul>",
