We can't wait to work with you!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Responsibilities for this position include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>The coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in the operating room.</li>\n <li>Supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. </li>\n <li>Will function within the Shriners Hospitals for Children Professional Practice Model (FOCUSED), which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. </li>\n <li>The ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice provide a basis for the practice of the RN. </li>\n <li>Provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts. </li>\n <li>Delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and availability of resources. </li>\n <li>Possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and may participate on committees or projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<p>Associate's degree in nursing (ADN)</p>\n<p>RN license in state of practice (SC)</p>\n<p>Prior OR Circulator RN experience</p>\n<p>Basic Life Support (BLS) </p>\n<p>Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)</p>\n<p>Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS), obtained within one year of employment as required by hospital</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<p>Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) </p>\n<p>2 years of nursing experience in an acute care hospital</p>\n<p>Pediatric and/or orthopedic experience </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
