As a Project Manager, you’ll report directly to the Director and VP in a client‑facing role that requires building strong relationships both in and outside the office. You’ll develop through hands‑on experience, peer collaboration, and ongoing technical training. \n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure all company, client, and project policies/procedures are followed as specified.</li>\n <li>Generate estimates, prepare and review project proposal or plan to determine and establish a time frame, work plan, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various project phases</li>\n <li>Oversee the project through administrative direction of on-site supervision to ensure the project is built following design, budget, and schedule </li>\n <li>Actively interfacing with the customer to validate expectations are understood and met before, during, and after project completion</li>\n <li>Plan, coordinate, and/or manage activities of all company personnel and subcontractors on assigned project(s)</li>\n <li>Generate billings and lead the collections process for projects</li>\n <li>Frequent project visits with field supervision and other personnel to understand progress, needs, or issues. Assist in the planning of future labor/material needs of the project</li>\n <li>Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to the job site by working directly with vendors</li>\n <li>Build long-term relationships with both clients and fellow employees by consistently exceeding expectations </li>\n <li>Offering innovative solutions developing methods of procedures in sequence of operations</li>\n <li>Capable of locating end user's driver solutions</li>\n <li>Provide consistent feedback and reports to the business unit vice president/or Director</li>\n <li>Manage project review process with particular emphasis on financial forecasting</li>\n <li>Provide advice, guidance, mentoring, and direction to team and other junior personnel toward the achievement of their personal development goals</li>\n <li>Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills and competencies to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity</li>\n <li>Proactively lead the team job site safety and adherence to company policies and national safety standards for personnel under his or her supervision.</li>\n <li>Actively participate in industry even and community engagement activities</li>\n <li>Preparing Change Management Forms and Methods of Procedure (MOPs).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<strong>REQUIRED</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Electrical contracting project management experience </li>\n <li>Understanding of electrical installations</li>\n <li>Good knowledge of how to read electrical and mechanical drawings</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills required - Specifically with Microsoft 365</li>\n <li>Familiar with computer-based estimating for an item by item estimating</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Must understand billing and collections</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills</li>\n <li>Able to work independently as well as in a team environment</li>\n <li>30 Hour OSHA Certification required within the first year</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>PREFERRED</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>A College degree, journeyman’s license, or master electrician’s license</li>\n <li>Five years or more of Mission critical/Data center project management or Field experience </li>\n <li>Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project and on-screen takeoff or ability to learn it quickly</li>\n <li>Experience with COINS (ERP Software) </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical and Dental (100% of the premium covered by Miller Electric)</li>\n <li>401k retirement with company matching</li>\n <li>Vision plans</li>\n <li>Disability Insurance</li>\n <li>Basic and Supplemental Life Insurance </li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Accounts</li>\n <li>Travel Accident Insurance </li>\n <li>Paid Vacation & Holidays</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n <li>College Coach Services</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#Miller</p>\n<p>#LI-JR1</p>\n<p>#constructionjobs</p>\n<p>#electricalconstruction </p>\n<p>#constructionprojectmanager </p>\n<p>#PMjobs</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
