Position Summary Orange EV is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of new products and manage existing products. Position Responsibilities Schedule and lead project review meetings throughout the lifecycle of the product Collaborate with numerous internal teams, including Design Engineering, Process Engineering, Test Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, and Field Service to identify, define, and resolve issues related to the product Collaborate closely with the Program Chief to prioritize engineering tasks related to the product Organize and manage engineering tasks specific to the product through Jira Software Manage the Engineering Change Control (ECR) process, including leading change control meetings, expediting tasks, and implementing changes into the product Create and update project planning documents, including project requirements, product design assumptions, bills of material, project schedule, and budget Position Qualifications Engineering undergraduate degree Minimum 10 years of experience in product technical design or development Minimum 5 years of experience in project/program management Demonstrated ability to effectively understand technical materials and communicate to non-technical audiences Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal means to various audiences High level of organization managing multiple tasks of various sizes on different schedules with ever-changing levels of priority Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues and plan ahead; proactive work ethic Experience leading multidisciplinary teams Conduct daily activities with integrity and professionalism Proficient with computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, SharePoint, and Teams Ideal Candidates Will Also Have Highly preferred automotive background Experience and knowledge in automotive product development, product launch, and manufacturing Basic knowledge of Jira Software Physical Requirements The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation: Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards Work in a stationary position up to 75% of the time Orange EV is an Equal Opportunity Employer and seek diversity in candidates for employment.
