Security designers will be responsible for managing small projects and assisting with project tasks on medium to large projects. It is important for the continued grow of Telgian Engineering &amp; Consulting that the Security Designer possess the aptitude to grasp technical and design concepts and apply them to respective customer needs. Security Designers may be &quot;vertical market specific&quot; (i.e. Corporate, Government, healthcare, etc.), but will be given exposure to all facts of the security business. Security Designers will report to the Regional Practice Leader.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Your Opportunity</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><p>As a Security Designer you will work on a broad range of design projects including projects you own, as well as collaborating with Senior Designers on more complex projects. There is ample opportunity for development within our company, and travel is available, if desired. More specifically you will:&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Assist with business development activities and preparation of proposal technical content</li><li>Reviews existing infrastructure security and systems for operational functionality, compliance with regulatory requirements; determines improvement recommendations</li><li>Expert in cultivating both new customer opportunities and strengthening existing customer partnerships within commercial accounts</li><li>Conduct client meetings and interviews</li><li>Conduct site surveys</li><li>Prepares project design concepts; Performs systems design and engineering for the security industry</li><li>Prepare project budgets; Write project reports</li><li>Write detailed technical specifications; Coordinate field installation activities</li><li>Other duties as needed.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Your Compensation and Benefits</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><p>At Telgian, we are proud to offer a unique, professional work environment where we consider all of our associates to be part of our family.
