This role is office-based and focused on engineering evaluation, judgment, and decision-making using drawings, specifications, inspection data, and photographic evidence.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you are passionate about aircraft repair, MRB engineering, and technical problem-solving—and prefer structured analysis over constant shop-floor firefighting—this role is for you.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Perform engineering analysis and create MRB design dispositions for assembly manufacturing nonconformances</p></li>\n <li><p>Evaluate repair, rework, and use-as-is scenarios with consideration for fit, form, function, airworthiness, cost, and schedule</p></li>\n <li><p>Process detail and sub-assembly concessions from risk-sharing partners and final assembly lines</p></li>\n <li><p>Apply engineering judgment to documentation, inspection reports, measurements, and photographic evidence</p></li>\n <li><p>Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (Design, Stress, Quality, Manufacturing, Suppliers) to determine the most appropriate design solution</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure adherence to airworthiness requirements, customer procedures, and regulatory standards</p></li>\n <li><p>Clearly document and communicate technical rationale for all MRB decisions</p></li>\n <li><p>Escalate critical issues when required and mentor junior engineers as appropriate</p></li>\n <li><p>Participate in customer-facing technical discussions as needed</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>What This Role Is</strong></h3>\n<p>✔ Documentation-driven MRB engineering✔ Independent engineering decision-making✔ Office-based with technical depth</p>\n<h2><strong>What This Role Is Not</strong></h2>\n<p>✖ A shop-floor production support role✖ A clerical or administrative position✖ A rubber-stamp approval function</p>\n<h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or related discipline</p></li>\n <li>Engineering degree must be ABET-accredited and recognized under the Washington Accord</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of MRB structures design engineering experience within aerospace (commercial or military)</li>\n <li><p>Previously held MRB signing authority or delegated technical approval within the past 3–5 years (preferred)</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience supporting Boeing commercial aircraft programs, particularly 737 and/or 787, or similar aircraft platforms</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong understanding of metallic and composite structures</p></li>\n <li><p>Solid knowledge of material properties, manufacturing methods, and their impact on aircraft performance</p></li>\n <li><p>Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and specifications</p></li>\n <li><p>Working knowledge of SAP NCMS or similar nonconformance management systems</p></li>\n <li><p>Familiarity with CATIA V5 for drawing/model interrogation (preferred)</p></li>\n <li><p>Prior DOA experience, concessions training, TIPQA, or equivalent exposure is a plus</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Work Schedules</strong></h2>\n<p>Multiple schedules available:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Day, night, and weekend shifts</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Three thousand dollars sign-on bonus after 90 days of successful employment</li>\n <li>Competitive hourly rate</li>\n <li>Five thousand dollars retention bonus after 12 months of employment</li>\n <li>3 weeks (15 days) of paid time off and paid holidays</li>\n <li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits</li>\n <li>401(k) with company match</li>\n <li>Stable, office-based work environment</li>\n <li>Long-term role with retention incentive</li>\n <li>Supportive, collaborative engineering culture</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>About Expleo</strong></h2>\n<p>Expleo is a global engineering, technology, and consulting service provider with 18,000 employees in over 30 countries.
