Our Maintenance team is one of the best in the industry when it comes to prompt response, efficient process, and repairs that withstand the daily grind of our plant. We&#39;re in need of an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team of maintenance masters and oversee some serious projects! As Maintenance Engineer, you&#39;ll be a true leader on the team that&#39;s not hesitant to get your hands dirty with highly technical mechanical, electrical, and engineering issues in the plant.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>MAINTENANCE ENGINEER PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong><br />\r\nProvided highly technical assistance and resolution when mechanical, electrical or engineering problems occur.<br />\r\nPerform operational inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment; adjust flows, equipment, process and treatment as directed by supervision.<br />\r\nCollaborate with other engineers to identify, define, and solve developmental progress.<br />\r\nLead preventive, reactive or predictive maintenance on all centrifugal separation machines, process equipment (including wet and dry process, and packaging equipment) and utility equipment (including boilers and ammonia refrigeration).<br />\r\nLead in pump mechanical works, and maintain and sustain pump programs.<br />\r\nPerform advanced electrical troubleshooting and installation; VFDs , motors, PLCs.<br />\r\nEnter operation and maintenance data into logs, reports and computer databases.<br />\r\nRespond to Department calls and emergency call-ins<br />\r\nAdhere to all municipal, state and federal regulatory compliance, reporting any nonconformity.<br />\r\nAdhere to all SOPs and HACCP guidelines.<br />\r\nAdhere to all UDA quality, safety, and GMP policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity<br />\r\nOther duties as required.<br />\r\nDevelop and implement procedures to ensure spare parts availability and control<br />\r\nProvide training, coaching and development opportunities to the maintenance team.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>MAINTENACNE ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS:</strong><br />\r\nSkills &amp; Abilities:<br />\r\nExpert knowledge and applied understanding of: Industrial electrical systems; Industrial pneumatic systems; Industrial boiler systems; industrial refrigeration systems, motor, compressors, gearboxes, pumps, and Industrial Electrical.<br />\r\nAbility to operate equipment including a forklift, and various lifts.<br />\r\nMust be able to work 12 hour shifts.<br />\r\nRequires ability to read, hear, speak, and comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.<br />\r\nKnowledge of packaging equipment systems and repair.<br />\r\nKnowledge of equipment systems troubleshooting and repair.<br />\r\nKnowledge of dairy processing systems troubleshooting and repair.<br />\r\nKnowledge of lubrication principles and techniques including bearing types and usage.<br />\r\nUnderstand and read different technical prints and/or diagrams.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Experience:<br />\r\nGeneral knowledge of food manufacturing processes.<br />\r\nVast computer skills.<br />\r\n10+ years of industrial maintenance experience.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Education/Certifications:<br />\r\nHigh School Diploma or Educational Equivalent.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: </strong><br />\r\nRequires ability to walk and stand for 12 or more hours at a time.<br />\r\nRequires ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift, climb ladders, stairs of various heights and carry items in excess of 55 pounds.<br />\r\nRequires ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift and carry items often including items up to 55lbs.<br />\r\nRequires ability to push and pull items frequently including items 150lbs.<br />\r\nRequires ability to climb ladders and stairs of various heights including floors of 100ft or more.<br />\r\nRequires ability to hear and speak and frequently hear and speak in very noisy environments.<br />\r\nRequires ability to work in varying extreme hot, cold, and wet temperatures and conditions.<br />\r\nRequires ability to work in confined spaces frequently.<br />\r\nRequires the ability to visually observe the condition of surroundings.<br />\r\nRequires ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals.<br />\r\nRequires ability to walk entire facility multiple times for each shift.<br />\r\nAbility to drive and operate a forklift and like equipment.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>ABOUT UDA:</strong><br />\r\nUnited Dairymen of Arizona (UDA) is a local, family-owned, dairy cooperative committed to serve the needs of our members, community, and customers by providing high quality milk and dairy products.
