    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p><br></p><p>This employee will provide geological and/or environmental services (or a combination thereof) for a wide variety of BMI clients under the supervision of the Dayton Engineering Manager. This employee will perform field sampling and groundwater testing services, and landfill construction testing and observation, and conduct environmental assessments, site investigations, and environmental permitting.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong><u>Operations/Essential Work Functions</u></strong></p><p><br></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 35px;\"><li>Routine groundwater, surface water, and leachate sampling and associated reporting.</li><li>Prepare technical sections of reports related to groundwater investigations and remediation activities.</li><li>Day-to-day technical support of environmental projects &ndash; Phase I ESA, site investigation, UST removal, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Landfill construction observation and testing.</li><li>Preparation of annual license applications, modifications, exemptions, and construction documentation reports for various landfill facilities</li><li>Aerial mapping using Drone technology and GPS surveying</li><li>Preparation of NPDES permits and associated reporting</li><li>Preparation of air permits and associated reporting</li><li>Interface with government agencies, i.e. OEPA, US Army Corps of Engineers, ODNR, Various health departments, etc.</li><li>Prepare Environmental Permit applications for 401 Water Quality Certifications, 404 USACE permits</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:27.0pt;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:27.0pt;\"><strong><u>Staff Management&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:27.0pt;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:27.0pt;\">Dayton Engineering Manager; however, this employee must work together with other BMI staff to achieve project deadlines.</p><p style=\"margin-left:27.0pt;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:27.0pt;\"><strong><u>Client Retention &amp; Business Development</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:27.0pt;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:27.0pt;\">No specific responsibilities to client retention. Business development activities when assigned.
