We have an exciting opportunity for you!</p>\n<p>Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Capital Projects Superintendent to join our team. &nbsp;The successful candidate will overshee execution for multiple projects across differnt sites.</p>\n<p>At Nevada Gold Mines, our vision is to be the world’s most valued gold mining business by finding, developing, and operating the best assets with the best people. We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Successfully execute capital projects within existing framework to meet business need</li>\n <li>Evaluate and prioritize prospective projects, including\n  <ul>\n   <li>Commission and evaluate trade-off studies</li>\n   <li>Develop project schedules and budgets at appropriate detail</li>\n   <li>Develop and review financial assessments in coordination with Finance partners</li>\n   <li>Ensure projects meet company investment filters</li>\n   <li>Prepare and motivate project approvals</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Support safety culture to execute projects with zero-harm</li>\n <li>Manage consultants, vendors, and contractors to drive project execution</li>\n <li>Direct engineering process to deliver fit for purpose design that meets business need&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support procurement process, including\n  <ul>\n   <li>Coordinate and communicate procurement strategies&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Develop work scopes and bid packages</li>\n   <li>Complete technical and commercial review</li>\n   <li>Participate in bid clarifications and negotiations</li>\n   <li>Recommend contract award and seek necessary approvals</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Identify, mitigate, monitor, and respond to risks affecting project execution</li>\n <li>Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders</li>\n <li>Manage capital spend, report variance, and adjust forecasts monthly</li>\n <li>Report project status and risk to stakeholders and senior leadership</li>\n <li>Identify continuous improvement initiatives and develop plans to deliver value savings&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Oversee execution for multiple projects across different sites</li>\n <li>Mentor young and developing project engineers</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>B<a target=\"_blank\">achelor’s degree or relevant experience in engineering or a related field <strong>required</strong></a></li>\n <li>Project Management Professional certificate or Professional Engineer licensure <strong>preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Minimum 10 years’ experience in progressive project management, engineering design, and construction management <strong>preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Supervisory and leadership experience <strong>preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Strong understanding of project management techniques &nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\"> <strong>required</strong></a></li>\n <li>Technical capability in engineering design <strong>preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Experience with capital and project management systems <strong>preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Data and business analysis skills to conduct <strong>preferred</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-JB1</p>\n<p><i>Thank you for your application, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</i></p>",
