In July 2024, GMIN has acquired the Oko West project. The Oko West Project is a new gold discovery in northwest Guyana. It is located south of the historical “Oko” gold district, some 95 km west of Georgetown.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To ensure the achievement of this large-scale project, G Mining Ventures is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Speedboat Bowman </span></p>\n<p>Speedboat Bowman is responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of the vessels, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the navigation and operation of the boat under the direction of the</li>\n<li>Ensure the safety and security of passengers and crew at all</li>\n<li>Conduct pre-departure checks, including safety equipment and emergency</li>\n<li>Provide excellent customer service, engaging with passengers and addressing any inquiries or concerns.</li>\n<li>Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vessel, both inside and</li>\n<li>Assist with loading and unloading passengers and</li>\n<li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs as directed by the captain or lead</li>\n<li>Participate in emergency drills and training</li>\n<li>Monitor weather conditions and report any changes to the</li>\n<li>Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all</li>\n<li>Assist with refueling the vessel and keeping a fuel</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications/Skills and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid STCW certificate from an accredited</li>\n<li>Previous experience in a boating or maritime environment is</li>\n<li>Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency</li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal</li>\n<li>Ability to work as part of a team and</li>\n<li>Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy</li>\n<li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Position based at the OKO Project site. .</li>\n<li>Work Schedule – 14 days on/7 days Off</li>\n<li>Transport, accommodations, and meals provided on site.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation Package</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Permanent, full-time role</li>\n<li>Competitive Salary</li>\n<li>Competitive benefits, bonus and group insurances.</li>\n</ul>",
