    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Overview</span></p>\n<p>We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Preconstruction Estimator to join our estimating team, focusing on water and wastewater treatment plant (WTP/WWTP) projects. This role supports collaborative delivery methods—such as Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), Design-Build (DB), and Progressive Design-Build (PDB)—where early contractor involvement and teamwork with design partners and owners are key to success.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation in civil or process mechanical construction, analytical problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll play a key role in developing accurate estimates, evaluating design alternatives, and shaping projects that improve water infrastructure across our communities.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare conceptual and detailed cost estimates at various design stages (10%, 30%, 60%, 90%).</li>\n<li>Perform quantity takeoffs for civil, structural, mechanical, and process disciplines.</li>\n<li>Solicit, analyze, and scope subcontractor and vendor proposals to ensure accuracy and coverage.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with design partners to align design development with cost and constructability considerations.</li>\n<li>Support the development of pricing models, cost summaries, and GMP or target price proposals.</li>\n<li>Participate in design and value engineering sessions, providing cost-driven feedback.</li>\n<li>Assist with client presentations and internal preconstruction deliverables.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li>\n<li>3–8 years of estimating or project management experience, preferably in water/wastewater treatment.</li>\n<li>Experience in collaborative delivery projects (CMAR, DB, or PDB) strongly preferred.</li>\n<li>Proficiency with estimating tools such as InEight; strong Excel and quantity takeoff skills.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Bluebeam, Revit, or Navisworks a plus.</li>\n<li>Understanding of treatment process systems, mechanical/electrical components, and construction sequencing.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Preferred Attributes</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborative and team-oriented approach to problem-solving.</li>\n<li>Strong communication and organizational skills.</li>\n<li>Detail-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n<li>Eagerness to learn and grow in preconstruction for complex water infrastructure projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Why Join Us?</span></p>\n<p>Join a collaborative and purpose-driven team delivering essential water and wastewater projects.
