You will also conduct process improvement initiatives and custom product developments.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>So, what will you be doing as a Sr. Process Engineer?</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Develops innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturing production and quality problems through identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes including conducting process analysis, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, conferring with suppliers, and soliciting observations from the operators/production technicians.</li><li>Refines and enhances processes by applying continuous improvement and key Lean manufacturing / production principles and techniques to areas of production. Recommend product changes / improvements.</li><li>Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout. Coordinates input that may cross multiple teams or areas; makes recommendations and implements changes.</li><li>Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished product and process capabilities, and establishing standards to confirm and validate manufacturing process requirements. Determines root cause of failure using scientific methods including statistical analysis (e.g., design of experiment, SPC) that may result in changes in design, tolerances, or processing methods.</li><li>Identifies and implements solutions for issues relating to safety, quality, productivity, and cost reductions.</li><li>Prepares documentation for new manufacturing processes and engineering procedures. Prepares reports summarizing analyzed process information and trends.</li><li>Partners with maintenance on the development improvement and auditing of preventative maintenance programs; daily support of problems solving and introduction of new techniques and skills.</li><li>Assists in the development of quality assurance plans by conducting risk analyses; identifies critical control points and preventative measures; establishes critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.</li><li>50% of travel required.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>To be successful in this role, you&rsquo;ll need:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Automatic Control (PLC, Drivers, Hardwire, CNC etc.)</li><li>Practical knowledge of manufacturing and production engineering principles, concepts and general business operations. Ability to create detailed work instructions from engineering blueprints. Familiarity in creating standard work documents.</li><li>Strong math and computer skills. Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD and 3D Modeling) required for creating process prints, designing tools, fixtures, and gauges.</li><li>Must possess strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use basic measuring tools, and hands-on capabilities to work on projects without supervision.</li><li>Good communications, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
