Apply now and apply the sunscreen later.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>HOW YOU WILL DO IT:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Scan water and swimmers in the wave pool, lazy river, and many exciting water attractions</li>\n <li>Must possess the physical ability to rescue guests and act as first responders providing basic, but critical medical aid to guest</li>\n <li>Assist guests in and out of rafts and cycle through the line efficiently</li>\n <li>Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable ride experience</li>\n <li>Keep all midways and slide areas clean</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Complete and maintain Ellis & Associates Lifeguard training and certification</li>\n <li>Understand and perform basic lifeguarding skills, first aid, and CPR</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail, not easily distracted, and commitment to safety</li>\n <li>Friendly, outgoing personality</li>\n <li>Positive attitude to make guests excited about their time within the waterpark</li>\n <li>Must react well in stressful and emergency situations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Must be 16 years of age or older.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Must be available to work between the hours of 11 a.m.-8 p.m.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Must be able to swim 200 yards</strong>, retrieve a 10-pound brick from the bottom of a pool, tread water for two minutes without hands, and lift yourself out of the pool</li>\n <li>Must successfully complete lifeguard certification training.</li>\n <li><strong>Minimum 20/25 or 20/25 corrected vision and free from abnormalities of either eye.</strong></li>\n <li>Excellent verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends and holidays</li>\n <li>The ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time outdoors in various weather conditions to include extreme heat and sun.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>OTHER NOTES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.</li>\n <li>Reports to Aquatics Supervisor</li>\n <li><strong>PAID TRAINING!
