    "description": "<p>STUDENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME 2026/27</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Applications now Open on BambooHR </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Student Ambassadors will publicly represent the university. Embodying all the positive reasons to study at St Patrick’s, they will reinforce the university’s values in a way that is more accessible to the school-leaver target audience.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>By becoming a Student Ambassador for St Patrick’s Pontifical University, Maynooth you will be part of a team available to assist the university in the 2026/27 academic year, specifically with:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing testimonials - verbal, written, recorded and photographic</li>\n<li>Taking part in photography, video and other marketing projects</li>\n<li>Attending Student Recruitment fairs and Open Days advocating on behalf of the University</li>\n<li>Acting as Meet and Greet at specific identified events</li>\n<li>Being available to prospective students at specific points to answer questions about university life</li>\n<li>Being active on Social media on behalf of the University</li>\n<li>Assisting with conferences as identified. (This can include registration desks, roaming mics for Q&amp;As,<br>directions for guests)</li>\n<li>Providing a link for Marketing to facilitate recruitment of existing students for Research Focus groups,<br>photoshoots, and other activities.</li>\n<li>Assisting with other campaigns from the President’s office and Events. Examples include but are not<br>limited to, Christmas Carols service, Awards night, Graduation day, campus tours, St Patricks Day Appeal.</li>\n<li>Represent the university and project a professional manner including wearing branded clothing at times as requested</li>\n<li>Generate the internal Undergraduate Student Newsletter</li>\n<li>Other projects may be identified throughout the year.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Applicants should have the following skills</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills for a variety of audiences</li>\n<li>Excellent social media skills</li>\n<li>Comfortable communicating with people at in-person events</li>\n<li>Ability to react effectively to changing situations</li>\n<li>Show leadership skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Applications Process</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applications are via BambooHR </li>\n<li>You are requested to upload a CV plus personal statement of suitability – c300 words</li>\n<li>Closing date for applications: 5th<span> June</span> 2026</li>\n<li>Interviews by Zoom/MS Teams will be scheduled for late June/Early July 2026.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Programme will commence with a short induction where the annual calendar of activity will be communicated. The programme will run for the full academic year, from September 2026 to June 2027.</p>",
