Regardless of your specific interests in school or life, we are sure that you will be able to experience something you will remember for the rest of your life after working with us for a summer.&nbsp;</strong></span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><strong>Specifically, we are looking for counselors who have high energy, who are willing to play games, teach life skills through healthy activities and most important be a role model for our campers. Please, if you have any interest in the locations listed above, stop by and drop off your resume and fill out an application!</strong></span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"><ins>Seasonal Hiring Process</ins></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Verdana;\"><ins>:</ins></span> &nbsp;</p><p>Potential counselors must complete an online application and resume. Your application materials will be reviewed and we will determine if we feel that you would be a strong candidate for Camp Hillside. &nbsp;If so, we will contact you to begin the interview process. &nbsp;This consists of 2 interviews: a group interview with Camp Administration and an individual interview with the Camp Directors. If after the second interview you are still a candidate for hire, we will conduct reference checks. (four references). If the references are good, we will make you an official job offer, then process a Criminal Background check (CORI and SORI). Once your background is clear, we will start the official hiring and paperwork process, where you will be trained and readied for a great summer! &nbsp;</p><p>Camp this summer runs from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. &nbsp;Staff hours are dependent upon camper enrollment numbers but can be between 7:30am - 5:30pm.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>There are mandatory trainings prior to the start of camp that must be completed in order to work. Trainings will be held throughout the month of May. Must be commited to work all through Camp season June 15th through August 28th.</p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Verdana;\"><ins>Day Camp Counselor General Function:</ins></span> &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Verdana;\">The counselor will help supervise and lead a group of youth in daily activities.</span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Verdana;\">(S)he will have a positive outlook on summer activities and is willing to help children grow to their full potential.
