    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></p><p>(May include but are not limited to):</p><ul><li>Responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, brakes and other basic components.</li><li>Repair and replace damaged or worn parts on vehicles and equipment.</li><li>Ability to operate and perform thorough inspection of machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.</li><li>Perform other routine service maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of all operating systems as necessary.</li><li>Test machinery and/ or equipment to ensure operating efficiency before and after repair or assembly for proper performance and compliance.</li><li>Fabricate, modify and/or install special equipment or parts using welders, torch sets, plasma cutter and metal cutting saws.</li><li>Diagnosing issues to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices.</li><li>Knowledge of electrical systems to include troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining.</li><li>Perform and schedule maintenance for vehicles and equipment, while maintaining accurate and up to date service records.</li><li>Order and maintain parts inventory for services and repairs.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment at all times,</li><li>Comply with all company, state and federally mandated safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Wear common protective or safety equipment, such as safety boots, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hat as required.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years as a certified crane mechanic and/or related experience and training.</li><li>Managerial experience preferred but not necessary</li><li>Must work well and communicate effectively with operators, truck drivers, and leadership.</li><li>Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities.</li><li>Must have valid CDL and satisfactory driving record.</li><li>Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.</li><li>Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test and physical.</li><li>Exceptional time management skills</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a team environment as well as individually.</li><li>Clean and organized</li><li>Ability to stand, balance, climb, for long periods of time.
