    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Cal-Ore Telephone Co. is seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Fiber/Telecom Installer. This role involves both inside and outside plant installations and requires a strong working knowledge of telecommunications systems and infrastructure.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location &amp; Coverage Area:</span><br>This position reports to the Yreka, CA office and requires regular travel within the regional service area, including Weed, Mt. Shasta and surrounding communities.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install and maintain copper and fiber service drops, ONTs, routers, DSL equipment, and radio equipment.</li>\n<li>Configure and support customer premise equipment, including multi-line key systems and PBX systems.</li>\n<li>Perform wiring and rewiring of new subscriber systems.</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and repair switching equipment, voice frequency repeaters, loop extenders, and other telecommunications components.</li>\n<li>Construct aerial and buried fiber drops and conduits as needed.</li>\n<li>Run and manage fiber cross-connects at central office or remote locations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in fiber and copper splicing.</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of RUS (Rural Utilities Service) standards and practices.</li>\n<li>Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred.</li>\n<li>Background in telecommunications construction is a strong plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a variety of outdoor and indoor environments.
