    "description_html": "<p><strong>KEY RELATIONSHIPS:</strong></p><p>Internal: Front Desk, Housekeeping, F&amp;B, Marina, Sales and Marketing, Groups, Club Director</p><p>External: &nbsp;&nbsp;All guests, Vendors, Contractors, City and State officials, Fire Department, Members</p><p><br></p><p><strong>SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>• The Assistant Chief Engineer maintains the hotel and club in accordance with the maintenance schedule by assigning and supervising staff.</p><p>• Ensures that equipment is operated effectively, efficiently and safely by directing and supervising the operation of all running equipment.</p><p>• Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing employees with the training and resources they need to maximize engagement and deliver service and teamwork.</p><p>• Tests and examines the life safety systems to ensure they are 100% operational at all times.</p><p>• Assists in the administration of the department.</p><p>• Helps correlate and examine bids and services with outside contractors and vendors.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p>In addition to performance of the essential functions, the Assistant Chief must be compliant with Standard Operating Procedures, Mission Values and Vision as well as all building/ fire/ health department codes. &nbsp;Maintain the building complexes as energy efficient as possible, constantly looking for ways to save energy.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>WHAT YOU GET TO DO:</strong></p><p>• Schedules work week coverage for engineering staff.</p><p>• Coordinates and prioritizes the distribution of work orders and preventative maintenance programs.</p><p>• Checks and monitors the completed work in order to ensure it is meets/exceeds brand standards.</p><p>• Creates preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment throughout hotel and club properties.</p><p>• Supervises and participates in maintenance work.</p><p>• Maintains routine reports by recording daily meter/refrigeration/gas readings and interpreting daily log sheets.</p><p>• Keeps Chief Engineer informed of anything that could indicate malfunctions.</p><p>• Detects when equipment needs repair, or when it is not economically justifiable to repair, by closely monitoring repair history of all major equipment.</p><p>• Communicates and reinforces the vision for service to employees.</p><p>• Ensures that employees provide genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis.</p><p>• Provides employees with the tools, training and environment they need to deliver service and teamwork.</p><p>• Tests and examines the life safety systems to ensure they are 100% operational at all times.</p><p>• Assists in the administration of the department.</p><p>• Reviews purchase requests and monitors expenses to budget to ensure goals are met/exceeded.</p><p>• Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.</p><p>• Helps correlate and examine bids and services with outside contractors and vendors.</p><p>• Ensures and helps implement energy saving programs to overall properties and equipment.</p><p><br></p>",
