    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Peraton is looking for an innovative and forward-thinking leader to join the Health State and Local (HSL) Sector as a <strong>Vice President/GM – DHA/VA.</strong> This strategic business area is centered on delivering mission-enabling technology, solutions and services to customers. The portfolio consists of multiple flagship contracts that deliver mission critical applications, mission critical infrastructure, and enterprise capabilities</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction, business growth, program execution, P&L and business operations, workforce engagement and financial success in concert with the sector President. This position provides a tremendous opportunity to imprint your vision and refine/improve execution plan required to drive significant revenue growth. You will be in a highly visible role where results will have a material impact on the overall success of the company in achieving its long-term market share, revenue, and profit objectives.</p>\n<p>In this role you will lead a portfolio of large and complex programs and opportunities by developing and executing the strategy and vision to include goals, client interface, communication, team structure, and growth</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>\n<p> The <strong>Vice President/GM</strong> will be responsible for the following but not limited to: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and mature key relationships within the customer organizations.</li>\n <li>Maintain aggressive efforts to achieve objectives. </li>\n <li>Manage a function that includes multiple related Operating Units/programs.</li>\n <li>Involvement and oversight of complex functional activities that will have a major impact on business operations for the business unit, sector and company.</li>\n <li>Responsible for all phases of the business unit budget. </li>\n <li>Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports. </li>\n <li>Develop and manage standards and methods related to a performance measurement framework which focuses on key performance indicators (KPI).</li>\n <li>Travel required as dictated by business need.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree, with at least 16 years of professional experience.</li>\n <li>Proven management cadence, process for driving results quarter over quarter</li>\n <li>High energy, impeccable integrity, and operates at start-up speed </li>\n <li>Knowledge of current and future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information that may impact corporate business performance within the target market.</li>\n <li>Specific experience supporting one or more of; VA, DHA, VHA, an/or Health.</li>\n <li>Must have US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain position of Public Trust Clearance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current PMP Certification</li>\n <li>SAFe certified</li>\n <li>Thorough understanding of customer’s missions across their entire enterprise. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
