Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversees the urinalysis process, collects and analyzes specimens to determine normal or abnormal findings.</li>\n <li>Responsible for laboratory documentation/reports, and forwarding lab results to the ordering physician for validation and confirmation.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the UDS processing.</li>\n <li>Log preliminary and final data from medical tests and enter results into medical records database.</li>\n <li>Controls the ordering procedures and inventory of supplies.</li>\n <li>Must maintain scheduled completion deadlines; demonstrating self-paced performance and adjusting priorities as needed.</li>\n <li>Cross-trains and supports others as needed or requested by supervisor.</li>\n <li>Will perform other duties as needed during down time or waiting.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Education/Experience:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or GED required.</li>\n <li>Medical Assistant Certificate, Certified Phlebotomy Tech or Associates in Laboratory Science or a postsecondary certificate of completion from a clinical laboratory training program. Licensed or Registered Technicians preferred.</li>\n <li>Prefer three years’ experience in a medical laboratory technician role in a healthcare facility; hospital experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to consistently demonstrate through conduct and communications the stability required to effectively assist patients and their family members through the FRN Model of Treatment.</li>\n <li>Ability to adhere to regulatory standards, including CARF.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>\n <li>Maintains confidentiality at all times.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.</li>\n <li>Must have general knowledge of a variety of computer software applications (MS Office, Google Products, electronic medical records). </li>\n <li>Requires analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain accuracy and thoroughness, and ability to check own work to ensure quality and accuracy.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>AAC is committed to principles of equal opportunities for all employees.
