Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.&nbsp;</p><p class=\"BodyTextCalibri\">As a core member of our&nbsp;KYC/AML&nbsp;team,&nbsp;you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.</p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>The AVP is a key leadership role within Citco’s AML/CDD function, reporting directly to the VP and managing a team of AML/CDD specialists. This is a <strong>client‑facing and client‑reporting position</strong>, responsible for delivering high‑quality AML/CDD services, conducting and overseeing investor CDD reviews, and ensuring exceptional client engagement.&nbsp;</p><p>A central expectation of the role is to<strong> present and discuss KPI/KRI performance, risks, and operational deliverables </strong>during client service calls. The AVP acts as a decision maker on complex AML matters, drives operational performance, and ensures all regulatory, internal policy, and service standards are consistently met or exceeded.</p><p><strong>Key tasks and responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;padding-left:24px;\"><li>Lead, supervise, and develop a team of AML/CDD specialists, ensuring strong performance, quality, and motivation.&nbsp;</li><li>Allocate resources, manage workloads, and oversee work queues to ensure timely delivery across all AML/CDD activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Act as a key escalation and decision‑making point for complex AML/CDD issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Oversee CDD reviews for new and existing investors, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and full compliance with Citco standards and regulatory requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Deliver high‑quality client reporting, including KPI/KRI summaries, performance commentary, and risk updates.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in and lead client service calls, walking clients through operational results, risks, and key deliverables.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure all SLA commitments, operational deliverables, and benchmark KPIs are met and exceeded where possible.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain strong client relationships and act as a primary contact for AML queries and escalations.&nbsp;</li><li>Support implementation, enhancement, and adherence to AML/CDD policies, procedures, and operational best practices.&nbsp;</li><li>Stay up to date with AML/KYC regulations and communicate relevant developments to the team.&nbsp;</li><li>Oversee the handling and escalation of High‑Risk investors (including PEPs) and support suspicious activity reviews.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct staff reviews, performance evaluations, and training needs assessments; support recruitment as required.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a complete overview of CDD/KYC records, ensuring timely follow‑up, proper documentation, and closure of outstanding items.&nbsp;</li><li>Foster a professional, collaborative, and motivating team environment while driving continuous improvement.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About You:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;padding-left:24px;\"><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics &amp; Law (MER), Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 3 years’ experience in Compliance, AML, or a client‑service financial environment.</li><li>Minimum 2 years’ experience managing staff within an operations or compliance setting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations, financial markets, and hedge fund industry practices.</li><li>Proven leadership ability with experience managing teams and delivering operational excellence.</li><li>Comfortable presenting to clients and discussing KPI/KRI performance, risks, and operational results.</li><li>Excellent MS Office skills and familiarity with workflow/reporting tools.</li><li>Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with a commitment to high‑quality client service.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What We Offer:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;padding-left:24px;\"><li>A challenging and rewarding role in an award-winning global business.</li><li>Opportunities for personal and professional career development.&nbsp;</li><li>Great working environment, competitive salary and benefits, and opportunities for educational support.</li><li>Be part of an industry leading global team, renowned for excellence</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary Range: </strong>CAD $90,000 - $110,000&nbsp;</p><p>- This position is for an existing vacancy</p><p><strong>Our Benefits</strong></p><p><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;\">Y</span></span>our well-being is of paramount importance and central to our success here at Citco.
