The Company with Great Benefits and certified as \"A Great Place to Work\".</em></strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the architecture, design, and evolution of APIs that expose 4G/LTE and 5G network functions, capabilities, and realtime data streams to external services </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and govern NEF, SCEF, and CAMARA compliant APIs, ensuring alignment with 3GPP and GSMA standards </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Partner closely with network, platform, product, and security teams to translate complex telecom concepts into clean, developer friendly interfaces </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Define and enforce API standards for scalability, performance, security, versioning, and lifecycle management </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Drive API design decisions across REST, OpenAPI, GraphQL, gRPC, and event driven architectures </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure APIs support high through put, low latency enterprise grade work loads with strong observability and resiliency </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide technical thought leadership and mentorship across a diverse, cross functional engineering organization </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Review designs and implementations to ensure consistency, quality, and best practice adoption </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Evaluate emerging technologies, standards, and industry initiatives to inform long term network exposure strategy </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Represent API architecture in internal forums and external partner discussions as a subject matter expert </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>10+ years of experience designing and building enterprisescale APIs and distributed systems </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Handson experience exposing 4G/LTE and 5G network functions, capabilities, and telemetry to external services </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven experience designing and implementing NEF, SCEF, and CAMARA APIs </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working with multiple 5G core OEMs (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, or equivalent), including integration and abstraction across vendor platforms </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Extensive API development experience in one or more modern programming languages, such as:  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Java / Kotlin </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Go </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Python </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>TypeScript / Node.js </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>C++ (or equivalent, where applicable to network systems) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Deep understanding of API security and access control mechanisms, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, mTLS, JWTs, and rate limiting </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong architectural judgment with the ability to influence technical direction across teams and organizations </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex architecture decisions to both technical and business stakeholders </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong knowledge of 3GPP standards related to network exposure and service enablement </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Aduna </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with cloud‑native telco platforms, including Kubernetes, containers, and service meshes </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Background in telco cloud, NFV, SDN, or edge computing </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience designing APIs for developer ecosystems, including onboarding workflows, documentation, SDKs, and sandbox environments </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior experience in emerging or innovation focused engineering teams </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Leadership Expectations</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as a principallevel technical authority for API architecture and network exposure </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Influence cross‑organizational decisions without direct authority </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Mentor senior and midlevel engineers in API design, standards adoption, and architectural best practices </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Foster a culture of innovation, engineering excellence, and cross team collaboration </li>\n <li>Lead by example through clear architectural artifacts, design reviews, and technical decision making </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Join Our Veteran-Friendly Team:</strong></p>\n<p>Are you a veteran or a veteran spouse with expertise in telecommunications?
