Position Summary The Pharmacy Training Manager/Lead at Gifthealth is responsible for overseeing the training and development of pharmacy associates. This role involves creating training programs, conducting training sessions, and ensuring that all pharmacy associates are knowledgeable and compliant with company standards and regulations. They will also provide ongoing support and mentorship to pharmacy trainers as well as pharmacy associates to ensure continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee training programs for pharmacy associates ensuring all materials remain current with evolving pharmacy practices, regulations, and compliance standards Supervise and mentor a team of trainers, driving consistency, quality, and continuous improvement in training delivery Assess training needs through data, employee feedback, and partnership with managers to ensure programs align with operational demands and regulatory requirements Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, using insights to refine programs and improve outcomes Foster a collaborative learning environment that promotes knowledge sharing, engagement, and ongoing professional development Oversee the pharmacy technician certification process, ensuring all team members meet state and national certification requirements Partner with pharmacy leadership to align training initiatives with business goals, performance metrics, and operational priorities Work closely with the Production team to ensure consistent training, coaching, and real-time feedback for employees Qualifications Strong leadership and educational skills with a proven ability to develop and deliver training materials. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and inspiring a team. In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements. Experience in curriculum development and training in a healthcare. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required, with additional certification in adult education or training a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Pharmacy, or related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy technology with at least 2 years in a training or educational role. Work Environment Location : On-site Schedule : Full-time May require additional availability or flexibility for escalations. Regular meetings with your teams, departments, or leadership to ensure alignment. Key Essential Functions Must be able to stand for at least 4 hours at a time while working Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Must perform repetitive motions for an entire shift, including bending, reaching, lifting, typing, and using a computer Must be able to work onsite for all scheduled shifts Employment Classification Status: Full-time
