This salaried non-exempt position reports to the Accounting Services Manager. The primary function of this position is to Lead the Account Payable Clerk team and assist with processing invoices, prepare checks for payment, and maintain proper control of all areas of the payable group within company guidelines. This requires broad knowledge and understanding of various accounting and finance functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Verify receipt, price and quantity of all products and services received; code and input outstanding invoices into systems (DataStream & SAP) for payment; and verify computer batch reports for input accuracy.</li>\n <li>Reconcile statements, handle vendor concerns, and maintain files for all accounts.</li>\n <li>Proof, correct, and post all invoices entered directly into payables systems.</li>\n <li>Review vendor statements for past-due invoices and/or credits and follow up as necessary.</li>\n <li>Generate various spreadsheets and reports for month/year end.</li>\n <li>Match checks with invoices and prepare for mailing.</li>\n <li>Maintain working relationships with internal and external contacts.</li>\n <li>Evaluate compliance of vendor agreements and reconcile all dispute notifications from vendors against existing agreements.</li>\n <li>Serve as a backup to other Accounts Payable Clerk in their absence.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication skills with professional decorum, oral and written.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service skills to be utilized internally and externally.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)</li>\n <li>High School diploma, or equivalent, plus 2–4 years job related experience.</li>\n <li>Good mathematical and analytical skills to anticipate problems and provide solutions.</li>\n <li>Positive attitude to achieve goals and deliver results.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Success begins with hiring the right people to collaborate with us as we grow and develop our business.
