Description

BETA is seeking an experienced Senior Stormwater Engineer to lead our New Hampshire and Northern New England focused Stormwater and Water Resources Team. The position will interact with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in the New England area and will provide leadership and client development specifically in water resources engineering, stormwater treatment, watershed planning, stormwater related construction management, and permitting. Our Stormwater/Water Resources team of professionals comes together to create innovative design solutions for our public-sector clients utilizing nature-based solutions to improve infrastructure, address water quality issues and mitigate for climate impacts such as flooding. Projects may include: stormwater treatment, stormwater control retrofits; green infrastructure; stream and streambank restoration; wetland and buffer restoration; hydraulic and hydrologic modeling; drainage and stormwater studies; stormwater asset management and stormwater management permitting including MS4 compliance programs. Responsibilities: Perform, manage, and oversee engineering on stormwater/water resources planning and design projects Technical design lead on concurrent projects Recommend solutions to engineering issues Provide responsive client service through strong and prompt communication Lead/Mentor young professionals. Assist with business development and manage project pursuits Collaborate across internal disciplines and office locations Properly scope, schedule and budget assignments/projects Continue to broaden technical skills within the chosen discipline Lead team, client and public meetings Preferred location is BETA’s Manchester, NH office. Candidates should have flexibility to work from our other office locations. BETA also offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing employees to request working remotely up to 2 days per week.
