Production Worker - Afternoon Shift

Sunrise Farms is a group of companies with primary focus in the poultry industry. From our hatcheries to our “ready to eat” state of the art cooking facilities we service customers in the retail, food service and industrial sectors. We are proud of our long-standing partnerships with family-owned Canadian chicken farmers to produce high quality products. Role: We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Production Team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for dependable team players who consistently show up on time and take pride in their work. Candidates must be flexible and available to work both day and night shifts based on business needs. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate. Responsibilities Working with a knife cutting/ trimming turkey and chicken Repetitive tasks on rotation. Requirements 1-2 years of food production experience Deboning experience is a must or be willing to learn Knife skills are a must or be willing to learn High school education Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong team player or work independently when required Able to work in a cold environment Physically fit First Aid Level 1 or 2 certificate would be an asset Forklift or power jack certificate would be an asset
