This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the world’s most vital transportation infrastructures while collaborating with leaders in aviation, engineering, data science, and systems integration.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Peraton, you won’t just support the mission—you’ll help define it.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Deployment Readiness Engineer </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location: Dallas, TX </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Peraton is looking for a Deployment Readiness Engineer to support regional deployment and installation activities for Air/Ground radio systems by coordinating efforts between Engineering Services and field installation teams to ensure successful implementation of systems and equipment. Acting as a regional technical field lead, this role provides local operational knowledge to optimize site visit planning and improve geographic deployment efficiency.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Deployment Readiness Engineer is responsible for ensuring all installation activities comply with applicable FAA installation guidelines, policies, and technical standards. This role requires hands-on involvement in hardware and software deployment, field testing, and operational readiness to ensure systems are properly installed, configured, and functioning prior to operational turnover.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate installation and deployment activities across regional sites in collaboration with Engineering Services and field teams.</li>\n <li>Support planning and execution of field deployments, including site preparation, equipment installation, system testing, and operational validation.</li>\n <li>Provide regional expertise to identify geographic efficiencies and optimize site visit scheduling and deployment logistics.</li>\n <li>Ensure all installation activities comply with FAA installation guidelines, technical standards, and program policies.</li>\n <li>Perform hands-on installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex hardware and software systems.</li>\n <li>Support field operations in remote or rugged environments and travel extensively to deployment locations as required.</li>\n <li>Document installation activities, deployment status, and technical findings through detailed technical reports.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with internal engineering teams, field technicians, and program stakeholders to ensure deployment readiness and issue resolution.</li>\n <li>Assist in troubleshooting deployment challenges and recommend solutions to improve installation efficiency and system performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with Ph.D.</li>\n <li>US Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a public trust clearance. </li>\n <li>Experience in field service engineering, system deployment, installation engineering, or technical support roles.</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience installing, testing, and maintaining complex hardware and software systems.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in field environments, including remote or rugged locations.</li>\n <li>Willingness and ability to travel extensively to support deployment operations.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce technical reports and brief stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting federal programs or FAA systems and infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with telecommunications, radio, or network system deployments.</li>\n <li>Experience coordinating installation teams across multiple geographic locations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
