    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>Stands on harvesting machine moving through fields at approximately one mile per hour.&nbsp; Separates dirt clods and foreign material from field product (onion or garlic) as it passes on a conveyor belt.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p><strong><u>Standing</u></strong>: 90-100%.&nbsp;Stands in one position while performing grading duties.&nbsp; Stands on metal mesh or wooden platform, at option of worker.&nbsp; &nbsp;A bar is located six inches above floor level so that worker may rest one foot or the other and shift position.</p><p><strong><u>Walking</u></strong>: 5-10%.&nbsp;Walks from harvester to truck four times per day when taking a break.&nbsp; The truck generally pulls up within a few furrows of the harvester; however, the workers must walk over furrows and rough terrain to get to the truck.</p><p>Bending: Bends infrequently in reaching across conveyor.&nbsp; Conveyor is located at a level where bending is not required and platforms are available to adjust height of worker so that prolonged bending is not required.</p><p><strong><u>Squatting</u></strong>: Squats only infrequently to pick up an item, which may have been dropped.</p><p><strong><u>Climbing</u></strong>: Climbs ladder type steps (four to five steps) to get on and off the harvester, five to six times per day.&nbsp; Climbs into pick-up for break and lunch.</p><p><strong><u>Lifting:&nbsp;</u></strong>Lifts dirt clods and trash continually off the conveyor belt, however, this is extremely light lifting requiring only hand and arm motion and the heaviest cloud would not weigh no more than 10 pounds.</p><p><strong><u>Skills and Abilities</u>:&nbsp;</strong>Ability to work outside in remote locations.&nbsp; Follow company guidelines for grading raw product and/or operating equipment.&nbsp;Communicate well with supervisors and coworkers.</p><p><strong><u>Education and Experience</u>:&nbsp;</strong>Field experience is helpful, but not required.</p><p>Must be able to travel with the Harvest from April to November</p><p><strong>ABOUT SENSIENT AGRICULTURAL INGREDIENTS:</strong></p><p>The Sensient Agricultural Ingredients group is part of Sensient Flavors &amp; Fragrances Group and is one of the largest producers and distributors of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery and spinach.
