Our core competencies include (but are not limited to):</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Networking and wireless research including 5G and non-terrestrial networks</li>\n <li>Cyber Security including formal methods, side channel analysis, high-fidelity emulation of cyber physical systems (CPS)</li>\n <li>Resilient networking in support of cyber mission goals</li>\n <li>Software-defined networking for cyber defense and deception</li>\n <li>Artificial intelligence (reasoning, probabilistic inference, machine learning)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#PLABS26</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 8 years of experience with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related scientific/engineering disciplines</li>\n <li>Ability and desire to quickly acquire knowledge of new subject matter areas</li>\n <li>Expertise in one or more of: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Rust or similar languages</li>\n <li>Experience with Statisfiability Modulo Theories (SMT) </li>\n <li>Experience utilizing tools such as Z3, MiniZinc, and CVC5</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and mobile operating systems, platforms and internals</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of modern computer networking technologies</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of modern development practices and toolsets (Git, subversion, CI/CD toolchains)</li>\n <li><strong>US Citizenship is required for this position</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Additional Relevant Skills (not required, but any are a plus):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience as a technical lead on software development projects or research teams</li>\n <li>Experience as a Principal Investigator on DoD/IC research projects</li>\n <li>Experience in business development, including technical marketing, idea generation, and authoring whitepapers and proposals for new work</li>\n <li>Experience in one or more of the following areas:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Computer networking protocol design and/or analysis</li>\n   <li>Compute and network emulation, containerization, and virtualization</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Experience with one or more of the following classes of tools and frameworks:\n  <ul>\n   <li>AI/ML tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch</li>\n   <li>Network emulation frameworks including CORE, EMANE, MiniNet</li>\n   <li>Container and Orchestration solutions, including: Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Terraform</li>\n   <li>Cloud services experience (AWS, Azure, OpenStack)</li>\n   <li>DevOps and Agile development methodologies</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
