Description

Behavior Technician If you are looking to make an impact through a meaningful and rewarding career, we are currently seeking talented, creative, and committed people who share our values of Challenging the Status Quo, Building Community, Creating Purpose, and Ensuring Inclusion by fostering individuals’ development, well-being, and growth. Collective ABA has been proudly serving the community for one year, and in that time we’ve built a collaborative, supportive, and passionate team culture. We are a small but growing group of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together, celebrate each other’s strengths, and care deeply about the children and families we serve. We specialize in providing high-quality, center-based ABA services to children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our clinic values teamwork, communication, and a shared commitment to progress and compassion. You’ll join a community where everyone—from BCBAs to technicians—supports each other, shares ideas, and contributes to a warm, positive environment. Job purpose: Behavior Technicians work directly with clients to implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA. This role includes providing 1:1 instruction, facilitating social skills groups, practicing daily living skills, and helping clients meet meaningful behavioral and developmental goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential—while being part of a clinic that truly values its team. Schedule: We are looking for a team member who can work part time hours (between the hours of 3:30-7:30 Monday through Friday) to serve individuals who come for services after school. There is also the opportunity for increased hours during the summer when many of our individuals come to us full time rather than extended school year (Typically 9-4). Qualifications: We will train you! While prior experience in ABA or relevant coursework is certainly a plus, it is not a requirement to thrive in this role. What we value most is a genuine passion for supporting children, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support, and we believe that dedicated, enthusiastic individuals can grow into exceptional Behavior Technicians—regardless of their background. If you’re motivated, compassionate, and excited about making a meaningful impact, we want to meet you. · $21-$23 / hour based on education and experience · We provide supervision for RBTs and BCBAs! Continue to grow with us! Duties and Responsibilities: Direct Client Support · Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adolescents with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder in a center-based setting. · Implement behavior intervention to support reduction of challenging behaviors using evidence-based strategies and behavior intervention plans. · Teach new skills across communication, social, academic, play, and daily living domains. Data Collection & Documentation · Collect and record behavior and skill acquisition data. · Record therapy notes for each session using Therap. Collaboration · Provide professional and timely communication with co-workers, supervisor, family members and guardians and other team members. · Assist the BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials as instructed. · Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Trainings & Compliance · Ensure that all Kennedy Collective, State, and Insurance regulations, and policies are adhered to. · Ensure all training courses are current. · Ensure the protection of the individual’s rights and safety by following HIPAA regulations, ensuring privacy, and reporting any type of abuse or neglect. · Maintain a comfortable program space, ensuring a clean and safe environment. · Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. The Kennedy Collective invests in the success of all new employees by providing an immersive new hire orientation and training experience. Here’s what you can expect if you’re hired: · Two-day new hire orientation (For Part-Time hires) including an introduction to the agency, relevant trainings, and employer-funded CPR & PMT certification. · Two weeks of job-specific trainings and shadowing at your worksite · Check-ins with Human Resources after your first 30, 60, and 90 days The Kennedy Collective is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer that is committed to equal employment opportunity for all qualified individuals without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, genetic information, military service, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law. Minorities, Women, Individuals with Disabilities, and Veterans are especially encouraged to apply.
