The technician will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate test results and patient safety. By monitoring patients during stress tests, the technician will gather vital data that contributes to the overall understanding of each patient&#39;s heart health. Ultimately, this role directly impacts patient outcomes and contributes to the advancement of cardiac care.</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Completion of a cardiac stress testing training program or equivalent experience.</li><li>Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Associate&#39;s degree in a related field such as cardiovascular technology or nursing.</li><li>Experience working in a clinical setting, particularly in cardiology or related specialties.</li><li>Certification as a Cardiac Technician or similar credential.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Administer and monitor cardiac stress tests, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.</li><li>Prepare patients for testing by explaining the procedure, answering questions, and obtaining informed consent.</li><li>Record and analyze data during stress tests, including heart rate, blood pressure, and ECG readings.</li><li>Collaborate with physicians to interpret test results and provide recommendations for further evaluation or treatment.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p>The required skills for this position include strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately monitor and record vital signs during stress tests.
