This role plays a key part in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring timely pickups, safe transport, and professional customer interaction.</p>\n<p>This position requires a strong focus on <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">safety, reliability, and customer service</span>, along with the ability to work independently and stay on schedule.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safely operate front-load and roll-off trucks to service assigned routes</li>\n<li>Pick up, transport, and deliver waste and recyclable materials to designated facilities</li>\n<li>Ensure proper loading, securement, and transport</li>\n<li>Perform daily <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">pre-trip and post-trip inspections</span> to ensure equipment is in safe working condition</li>\n<li>Maintain compliance with all <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DOT regulations and company safety standards</span></li>\n<li>Accurately complete required documentation</li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with dispatch</li>\n<li>Place containers properly to avoid damage, obstruction, or safety issues</li>\n<li>Perform basic truck checks (fluids, tires, cleanliness) and report maintenance needs</li>\n<li>Keep equipment clean and presentable</li>\n<li>Provide professional, courteous service at all customer locations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS &amp; REQUIREMENTS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid CDL Class A</li>\n<li>Clean driving record and ability to pass MVR screening</li>\n<li>Ability to pass DOT drug screen, background check, and Clearinghouse query</li>\n<li>Experience operating front load trucks preferred</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of safety practices and DOT compliance</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively</li>\n<li>Reliable, punctual, and professional in all interactions</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Routes are completed safely and on schedule</li>\n<li>No safety incidents or DOT violations</li>\n<li>Accurate and timely documentation</li>\n<li>Strong communication with dispatch and other team members</li>\n<li>Equipment is well-maintained and properly operated</li>\n<li>Customers receive consistent, professional service</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHY BURNS WASTE</span></span></p>\n<p>Burns Waste is part of a growing, family-owned company that values hard work, accountability, and long-term growth.
