For more information, visit&nbsp;<a href=\"http://www.metalsa.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">metalsa.com</a></p>\n<p><strong>Mission: Quality Engineer Liaison &nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>Lead all concerns related to product quality at the customer in Detroit, Michigan (Dearborn).&nbsp; Provide daily on-site support and supervision of the liaison inspection team.</p>\n<p><strong>Function/Accountability</strong></p>\n<p>Responsible for Customer Issue follow-up and resolution to close all customer concerns.</p>\n<p>Interface with customer assembly plants (at customer facilities in Dearborn), resolving concerns with customers daily.</p>\n<p>On-Call for all Customer concerns&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relations</p>\n<p>Communicate through available resources, all quality concerns, requirements, and information.</p>\n<p>Offer ideas for improvement of all systems and help implement them.</p>\n<p>Responsible for tracking all customer concerns and analyzing data as a proactive step for continuous improvement of products.</p>\n<p>Responsible for all Countermeasure activity to customer concerns.</p>\n<p>Coordinate efforts among all required parties to support an effective quality system.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Coordinating continuous improvement activities.</p>\n<p>Additional responsibilities as required – this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change</p>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<p>Two-year degree in a related field with 2-3 years of experience or 5-7 years of related experience as a quality engineer liaison&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Experience and knowledge with lean manufacturing</p>\n<p>Ability to read blueprints, including GD&amp;T&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Working Knowledge Material flow/Process flow analysis</p>\n<p>Supervisory and training experience (will have direct reports with coordination of the customer plant)&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Development of basic inspection procedures for receiving, process, and final assembly</p>\n<p>Preferred Customer and supplier contact related to quality and problem resolution</p>\n<p>Experience or knowledge of manufacturing welding practices preferred&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Customer service/customer centric, relationship building required&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Presentation experience to leadership audiences required&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive or industrial preferred)&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Understanding of customer-related quality procedures and processes</p>\n<p><strong>What is in it for YOU?&nbsp;</strong><br>\n  As part of the Metalsa team, you will benefit from great compensation and benefits package!</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Vacation, Personal Time, and Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Excellent Benefits Plan! \n  <ul>\n   <li>Medical, dental, vision, prescription insurance</li>\n   <li>Paid Short-Term Disability &amp; Long-Term Disability Coverage</li>\n   <li>Flexible Spending Account&nbsp;(FSA)</li>\n   <li>Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>401(k) Company Matching</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n <li>Advancement Opportunities &amp; Training Programs</li>\n <li>Other Discounts &amp; Perks!</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
