Together, we’ll push boundaries and go above what’s expected of us to meet the challenges of tomorrow and engineer a better world!</p><p><strong>CIMA+</strong> is currently looking for an <strong>Intermediate Electrical Engineer</strong> to join our growing Infrastructure team in our <strong>Mississauga</strong> office.</p><p>We are looking for a motivated professional with approximately 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally within municipal water/wastewater or industrial infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will bring strong technical design capabilities, sound project coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Work within a multidisciplinary design team, supporting the Project Manager and Senior Engineers in delivering electrical design assignments.</li><li>Develop electrical power distribution system designs, including single-line diagrams, site power layouts, motor control schematics, standby/emergency power systems, lighting layouts, and general power distribution plans.</li><li>Support the development of Instrumentation and Controls (I&amp;C) designs for SCADA monitoring and control systems, including control panels, P&amp;IDs, process control narratives, I/O lists, instrumentation selection, and communication network diagrams.</li><li>Prepare detailed designs, calculations, technical specifications, and contract documents for municipal infrastructure facilities, including water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and related facilities.</li><li>Contribute to design reports, technical memoranda, cost estimates, tender documents, and construction drawings.</li><li>Participate in field investigations, site inspections, and condition assessments to support design and construction activities.</li><li>Perform shop drawing reviews and assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for electrical and instrumentation equipment.</li><li>Support contract administration activities, including responding to RFIs, reviewing change orders, and monitoring construction progress for compliance with contract documents.</li><li>Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal project stakeholders.</li><li>Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, EITs, and co-op students as appropriate.</li></ul>",
