Description RISE is an innovative human services network originally established in 1987 for the purpose of moving individuals living in institutions into family settings. Since that time, services have grown to support children, adults, and families with a variety of needs across multiple states that include residential settings, day programs, employment assistance, managed care, and home and community based services. We create opportunities for and with the people we serve, their families, and for the men and women who work in the direct care profession. Our mission is to create opportunities for and with people. This encompasses not only individuals and families for whom we provide services and supports to, but also employees and stakeholders. We believe in the individuals, families and employees who are part of our organization and that opportunities can and should be created through all of our actions. RISE is in a search to hire a dedicated Trainer Specialist to provide guidance and coaching to the Directors, Coordinators and their direct and indirect reports while implementing RISE Mission, Vision, and Values. Training Specialist Responsibilities: Acts as liaison between teams to assist in the identification of program issues, determine best practices solutions and organize resources to address issues Works with management team to identify issues and formulate necessary quality improvement training Recommends specific solutions and training necessary to maintain quality standards Facilitates corrective and preventive actions as needed Performs quality audits for all RISE facilities in Arizona Coach, train and mentor employees, providing positive input and team building based on respect, cooperation, and competency Maintain and manage the state training calendar, state training reports, training OLCR portal compliance Assist district leadership when backlogged on trainings for staff Oversee onboarding and vetting of all new trainers with assist from district leadership Facilitate all new supervisor trainings, and advance principles of supervision Expert and advice on all training requirements from stakeholders and contracts Qualifications Must have demonstrative written and verbal communication skills adequate to the specific job. Must have a well-rounded background in software applications including Microsoft Office Suite applications. MS Excel advance skills and knowledge of pivot function is a requirement for this role. Candidate must be capable of learning other applications at an administrative level. Ability to work flexible hours; including on rare occasions evenings and weekends Self-directed, works with minimal supervision Must pass background clearance and obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card Must meet requirements of RISE vehicle insurance agency to drive RISE vehicles including minimum age requirement of 21 years of age Preference will be given to anyone that is certified as a trainer in First Aid/CPR, Prevention and Support, Article 9 and DCW – Direct Care Worker Fundamentals Preference in bilingual Spanish skills both verbal and/or written is desirable RISE offers competitive salary and excellent benefits that include medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, FSA, and a 403(b) that includes an employer contribution.
