Description

Summary/Objective: This person will work as branch support to help control parts inventory levels, watch for incoming purchase orders, and maintain the status of necessary items to complete upcoming jobs. This position requires reliability and open communication with the branch team. Essential Job Functions : Sort and organize incoming parts orders from vendors or as they come off technician trucks. Keep track of incoming orders; providing updates to Parts Manager when asked. Controlling parts inventory to correct level to ensure minimum out-of-stocks on key service replacement parts. Supply all purchase order paperwork to management. Verify receipt of all ordered items with management. Deliver parts as needed to remote techs and/or remote warehouse (driving company vehicle, DOT driver file completion required) Assist with quarterly physical inventory counts. Coordinate all product returns. Attend all internal pre-con meetings to discuss projects needs as they relate to parts, equipment, and materials requirement, as well as required delivery schedules. Notify installation/service/electrical manager of proposed delivery dates and any specific handling requirements. Work with office manager or service manager to assist with invoicing customers for parts, equipment and installation projects. Assist with customers and internal salesman as to parts and equipment applications and provide information resources. Other duties as assigned.
