The Behavioral Health Therapist will provide therapy sessions for individuals, groups, and families.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>BLOODBORNE&nbsp;PATHOGEN&nbsp;CATEGORY&nbsp;I:&nbsp;</strong>Tasks&nbsp;with&nbsp;actual&nbsp;blood/body&nbsp;fluid&nbsp;exposure&nbsp;are not included in this position&rsquo;s duties as the job requires therapeutic counseling only.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h1>DUTIES&nbsp;AND&nbsp;RESPONSIBILITIES</h1><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><h3>Day-To-Day Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide&nbsp;individual&nbsp;and&nbsp;group&nbsp;strengths-based&nbsp;therapy&nbsp;to&nbsp;children,&nbsp;adolescents,&nbsp;adults,&nbsp;and families.</li><li>Establish&nbsp;clear&nbsp;goals&nbsp;and&nbsp;strategies&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;welfare&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;client&nbsp;and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;documentation of services provided and client progress.</li><li>Work&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;client&nbsp;to&nbsp;develop&nbsp;an&nbsp;individual&nbsp;treatment&nbsp;plan&nbsp;according&nbsp;to&nbsp;OMHAS&nbsp;and CARF person/family-centered standards, review and monitor services and activities, documenting progress.</li><li>Support the care team environment by working collaboratively with clients and their families&nbsp;as&nbsp;appropriate,&nbsp;physicians,&nbsp;nurse&nbsp;practitioners,&nbsp;case&nbsp;management,&nbsp;referral&nbsp;sources, and ancillary agencies.</li><li>Provide client referrals to psychiatry/nurse practitioners, support groups, or other mental health&nbsp;professionals&nbsp;or&nbsp;agencies,&nbsp;and&nbsp;document&nbsp;services&nbsp;provided&nbsp;per&nbsp;the&nbsp;policies&nbsp;of&nbsp;PATH Behavioral Health, your professional licensing body, and state and federal guidelines.</li><li>Participate in care conferences and case reviews, and document and report concerns of abuse&nbsp;or&nbsp;neglect&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;appropriate&nbsp;authorities&nbsp;according&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;requirements&nbsp;of&nbsp;state/federal law and your licensing body.</li><li>Work&nbsp;professionally&nbsp;with&nbsp;referring&nbsp;providers&nbsp;or&nbsp;agencies,&nbsp;court&nbsp;systems,&nbsp;probation departments, foster care agencies, and the school system.</li><li>Be&nbsp;committed&nbsp;and&nbsp;respectful&nbsp;of&nbsp;cultural&nbsp;diversity,&nbsp;religious&nbsp;and&nbsp;personal&nbsp;values,&nbsp;and traditions of clients and their families in alignment with the Path&rsquo;s mission.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Day-To-Day&nbsp;Team&nbsp;Member&nbsp;Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Willingly&nbsp;serve&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;professional&nbsp;and&nbsp;collaborative&nbsp;capacity&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;other&nbsp;employees&nbsp;of Path Behavioral Healthcare, fully understanding&nbsp;and complying with all organizational processes and policies.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><div class=\"fr-page-break\" contenteditable=\"false\" style=\"break-after: page;\" data-title=\"PageBreak\"><div class=\"fr-page-break-line\"><span class=\"fr-page-break-label\">Page Break</span></div></div><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Collaborate&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;supervisors&nbsp;and&nbsp;coworkers&nbsp;to&nbsp;communicate&nbsp;with&nbsp;transparency&nbsp;and&nbsp;drive implementation of the organization&#39;s goals, objectives, and processes.</li><li>Maintain&nbsp;an&nbsp;organized&nbsp;practice&nbsp;and&nbsp;schedule,&nbsp;be&nbsp;at&nbsp;work&nbsp;on&nbsp;time&nbsp;and&nbsp;ready&nbsp;to&nbsp;work,&nbsp;and leave work at the completion of client care responsibilities.</li><li>Reduce&nbsp;client&nbsp;rescheduling&nbsp;by&nbsp;fully&nbsp;informing&nbsp;the&nbsp;appropriate&nbsp;person&nbsp;of&nbsp;necessary&nbsp;time&nbsp;off work.</li><li>Maintain&nbsp;strict&nbsp;compliance&nbsp;with&nbsp;HIPAA&nbsp;guidelines,&nbsp;confidentiality&nbsp;agreements,&nbsp;billing&nbsp;and coding guidelines, and company policy.</li><li>Maintain&nbsp;a&nbsp;demeanor&nbsp;of&nbsp;positive&nbsp;professionalism&nbsp;and&nbsp;serve&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;model&nbsp;for&nbsp;others&nbsp;to exemplify the mission and vision of Path Behavioral Healthcare.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Licensing/Continuing&nbsp;Education</h3><ul><li>Maintains&nbsp;an&nbsp;active,&nbsp;unrestricted&nbsp;Ohio&nbsp;license&nbsp;to&nbsp;provide&nbsp;clinical&nbsp;counseling&nbsp;services.</li><li>Attends&nbsp;all&nbsp;required&nbsp;continuing&nbsp;education&nbsp;opportunities&nbsp;per&nbsp;the&nbsp;regulations&nbsp;of&nbsp;your&nbsp;licensing body.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h1>QUALIFICATIONS</h1><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong><em>Education:&nbsp;</em></strong>Candidate&nbsp;must&nbsp;have&nbsp;a&nbsp;Master&#39;s&nbsp;degree&nbsp;in&nbsp;Social&nbsp;Work&nbsp;or&nbsp;Clinical&nbsp;Counseling&nbsp;from&nbsp;an accredited university.
