Apprenticeship (multiple options)

What awaits you: Kautex Detroit offers 3 DOL Registered apprentice tracks: Electrician, Machine Repair, and Machinist. Important information to know: This is a 4-year program mixed with on-the-job training (OJT) and classroom instruction at Macomb Community College Each apprentice is partnered with a journeyperson who is a subject matter expert in their field Apprentices will be paid for their full time OJT and Kautex will pay for their tuition to Macomb Each apprentice must take at least one class per semester Apprentices will become members of the UAW Apprentices will be Kautex employees and will be able to take advantage of available benefits (medical, dental, vision, retirement, etc.) Introduction: Kautex is a global company with over 30 plants in 13 countries.
