    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>&nbsp;Troubleshoot and resolve tickets opening by other support teams. Work with that support team to gather the needed information to solve the problem raised.&nbsp; Answer virtualization questions that customers raise about deploying Fortinet product in VM/Cloud environments.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Build test environments.&nbsp; Reproduce customer problems.&nbsp; Test scenarios in order to establish best practices &amp; assess interoperability when deploying Fortinet solutions.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Keep abreast of new developments and bulletins regarding your primary area of specialization</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Develop best practices</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Identify common virtualization problems encountered at Fortinet and follow up with documentation and/or training to address them</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Identify configuration settings or deployments that are potentially problematic, as well as what settings are important for optimal performance and business continuity.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Provide input to product management and technical documentation teams</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Develop a methodology for determining whether a technical problem lies primarily with the Fortinet product or with the VM/Cloud environment.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;This role may in the future involve some after-hours on-call support but is not anticipated initially.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>&nbsp;Expert level expertise in 1-2 of the following virtualization technologies:</li>\n</ul>\n<p>(exposure to additional areas an asset)<br/><strong>Hypervisor: VMWare vSphere, KVM, Hyper-V, Citrix Xen&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Public Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM, OCI, Rackspace</strong><br/><strong>SDN: VMware NSX-T, OpenStack</strong></p>\n<p>\"Data center operational experiences based on ITIL best practice\"</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong networking knowledge (Layer 2 &amp; Layer 3)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of firewall concepts and considerations</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills</li>\n <li>Persuasive and precise verbal and written communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Nice to have:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>&nbsp;Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Container Service).&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Note: Fortinet offerings now include Security Functionality as a Container, Integrated Container Security, Integrated Container Security &amp; Container Registry Security.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Solution Architect/DevOps certification from AWS, GoogleCloud, Azure, etc.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Cloud vendor-provided training</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Script programming - Python, Shell, Javascript, Yaml, Terraform, Ansible, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $122,000 - $150,000 annually. &nbsp;Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. &nbsp;Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.</p>\n<p>Fortinet strives to provide you and your family with a comprehensive benefits package.
