    "description_html": "<p>The Maintenance Mechanic Level B is responsible for performing intermediate-level maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in an iron foundry environment. The role ensures equipment reliability and minimal downtime in support of production operations.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>· Inspect, maintain, and repair foundry equipment including conveyors, hydraulic systems, furnaces, and mechanical handling systems.</p><p>· Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including motors, sensors, switches, and control panels up to 480V.</p><p>· Perform basic plumbing tasks such as repairing leaks, replacing valves, and maintaining water lines and air systems.</p><p>· Diagnose issues with hydraulic and pneumatic systems; replace pumps, hoses, seals, and valves as needed.</p><p>· Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and keep accurate maintenance records.</p><p>· Work with minimal supervision to prioritize and complete daily tasks.</p><p>· Assist in equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.</p><p>· Follow all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE usage.</p><p>· Collaborate with Level A mechanics, electricians, and engineering staff as necessary.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>· High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade school certification preferred.</p><p>· Minimum 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a foundry or heavy manufacturing setting.</p><p>· Solid working knowledge of hydraulic systems, conveyors, basic electrical repair, and plumbing.</p><p>· Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.</p><p>· Familiarity with welding and fabrication is a plus.</p><p>· Able to lift 75 lbs. and work in high-temperature and physically demanding environments.</p><p>· Must be available to work overtime, and weekends as needed.</p><p></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><p>· Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and crawling.</p><p>· Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including high heat and around heavy equipment.</p><p>· Manual dexterity required to handle tools and machine components.</p><p>· Visual acuity to inspect parts and detect mechanical issues.</p><p>· Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel-toe boots w metatarsal guards, hearing protection, and fire-resistant clothing.</p><p></p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><p>· Work is performed in a foundry environment with exposure to high temperatures, molten metal, dust, noise, and heavy machinery and airborne particulates.</p><p>· May work in confined spaces or elevated areas.</p><p>· Required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime based on production needs.</p><p><strong>Shift & Pay:</strong></p><p>· Shift: 3rd Shift- 8:00 PM- 6:30 AM</p><p>· Wage Range $27.97-$37.00 per hour (depending on experience knowledge)</p><p><strong>Benefits include:</strong></p><p>· Fixed weekly schedule.</p><p>· Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance options</p><p>· Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Insurance</p><p>· Paid Holidays</p><p>· Vacation and PTO Time</p><p>· 401K with company match option</p><p>· Plenty of growth opportunities</p><p>· And more!</p><p>Equal Opportunity Employer Statement:</p><p>Lawton Standard St Paul MN is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
